Sunny blue sky, temp in the 50s. Get out of the house! Go for a walk in the park at the lakefront. No dogs along this time, checking out the mobility of Scott's knee and my hip. We were driving along South Lake Drive (east of College Ave) and we saw a bunch of parked cars at Warnimont Park. As it turned out the cars were there for the dog park, which has an enclosed area, as well as paths designed for walking your favorite canines. There was another path, that we took which turned out to be pretty neat..
There wasn't any designated area to get down to the water, so we decided to get back in the car and head south along South Lake Drive to Grant Park.
Here's a little hint, don't take the path through the covered bridge. The pathway to the left before the covered bridge will lead to the beachfront.
What a nice walk along the water. Waves crashing, sun shining. Hardly anyone there.
Take some time to explore what Wisconsin has to offer!
Sun started to set as we headed back to our car. Looking forward to going again with the pups.
